Bacon Wrapped Mini
Meatloafs
Bacon and Cheddar Dip Mix

•1 ½ lbs. (700 g) lean ground beef
•1 egg
•¼ cup ( 50 ml) ketchup
•1 Tablespoon (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce
•2 Tablespoons (30 ml) Bacon & Cheddar dip mix
•1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
•¾ cup (175  ml) rolled oats
•1/3 cup (75 ml) chopped red pepper
•4 strips of bacon

Preheat the oven to 375 F (190 C).

In a large bowl, blend the egg, ketchup,
Worcestershire, dip mix and salt; mix in the oats and
red pepper. Add the ground beef, breaking it up and
blending in all the ingredients.  Divide into 4 equal
portions, shaping each one into a rounded loaf about
the shape and size of a large baked potato; wrap a
strip of bacon around each loaf with the ends tucked
under

Place the four loaves in an ovenproof dish and bake
for 40 minutes, then turn on the broiler for an
additional 3 minutes (for a leaner version, omit the
bacon and do not broil).

A modern classic the whole family will enjoy.
